Description
Buttercup huffed as she jumped onto her plushy bed and relaxed. Bubbles sat on hers and Blossom climbed onto the top bunk of her and Buttercup's bunk bed. The person who was supposed to be sharing a bunk with Bubbles still hadn't reached the school and was yet to come.
"What a tiring day," Buttercup groaned into her pillow. "I knew this was going to be hard, but I didn't expect it to be THIS hard."
"I know right," Blossom agreed then sighed. "I mean like, the lessons were so hard. I didn't even know that there were so many details connected to just saving one person! It was so confusing, and I'm like the smartest of all of us but I still didn't get it."
"Don't be getting a big head," Buttercup muttered. Bubbles didn't focus on the conversation. Her eyes kept put on her little octopus alarm clock ticking away. It was 9 pm, one hour away from the time she was supposed to meet up with Boomer. She sighed, her head still quite confused, then snuggled with her octopus teddy.
"And I can't believe Brick was nearly stalking me all day," Blossom complained.
"Don't think you're the only one. Butch just won't stop staring at me," Buttercup fizzed and punched her pillow.
"Buttercup, calm down. You don't want to break your bed on the first day. Anyway, do you think they're planning something?"
"I don't know. Bubbles, what do you think?"
She didn't reply. She was too lost in the clock's ticking.
"Bubbles?" Blossom repeated. They looked to her and finally she snapped out of her trance.
"Oh, eh, what're you guys talking about?" Bubbles uttered quickly.
"You weren't even listening," Blossom rolled her eyes.
"What's up with you? Even at lunch while we were taking that tour thingy you weren't paying attention either," Buttercup added.
"Oh, I'm just a bit tired, ya know," Bubbles sighed. "This school's a bit weirder than usual."
"Well, you should clear your mind," Blossom yawns. "We've got a long day tomorrow and we have to be wide awake. Especially because of gym class - i heard from some of my friends that it's going to be really tough."
"Hmm, at least we'll have a bit of a challenge this time around," Buttercup said fluffing up her flat pillow.
"It's going to be bed time soon . . ." Bubbles trailed off still staring at the clock.
Fifteen minutes to nine thirty.
Suddenly, the small announcement speaker in the corner of the room at the ceiling buzzed.
"It is now lights out, all students must be in bed, brushed their teeth, etc. and asleep or you will be punished. I repeat, It is now lights out, all students must be in bed, brushed their teeth, etc. and asleep or you will be punished. Breakfast is at 6.00am tomorrow morning. Good night."
The voice buzzed off. Buttercup lightly zapped a beam from her eyes at the light switch and the room went dark. They all crawled under their covers. Bubble's watched her glow in the dark clock intensely.

At ten o'clock Bubbles sat up in her bed and looked around the room. Blossom and Buttercup were fast asleep and this meant it would be a piece of cake to sneak out. She thought about it for a while - was it really worth risking detention to go meet boomer late at night? It had gotten really dark out.
Bubbles slipped on her fuzzy bunny slippers and wrapped her arms around Mr. Octopus. She slowly pulled the door open and squealed to find Cookie, Lizzie and Jenny waiting outside. Jenny quickly pulled her out the room and shut her mouth with her hand before she would wake everyone in the whole building up.
"What are you guys doing here?" Bubbles hissed quietly. They giggled.
"We came to follow you to meet Boomer!" Jenny whispered grinning.
"We can't miss out on the opportunity for a juicy romance," Lizzie giggled lots. Cookie nodded at both their statements.
"I doubt he'll be saying anything if you guys are right next to us," Bubbles whispered in response.
"Don't worry! We are going to hide in a bush and watch from there," Jenny reassures her.
"Come on, let's go. Boomer's probably waiting," Cookie jumped up and down excitedly and they dragged Bubbles down the hallway. She was really confused why they were so eager.
As they sneek out the door, past the warden, and round the corner they found Boomer waiting.The girls giggle and Cookie, Lizzie and Jenny jump behind a bush hiding. Bubbles strides over, clutching Mr Octopus tightly.
"Hi Boomer . . .," she says startling him. He blushes and scratches his head with one hand, the other behind his back.
"Hi Bubbles, I'm glad you came," He stumbles with his words shyly, looking her up. "Eh, I like your 'cute' bunny PJs."
"Thanks," Bubbles manages to smile and squirms shyly. Her face flushes bright red. "So, what was it you wanted to tell me?" Boomer handed her a single red rose and smiled. "What's this for . . .?"
"Bubbles," Boomer starts. "Ever since I first set my eyes on you and . . . since that kiss . . . I felt like . . ." He paused for a while. Bubble's heart thumped.
Oh my God, what is he going to say? she thought.
"I felt like . . . like, i love you," Boomer whispers. Bubbles face burns with a red.
"Are you telling the truth?" Bubbles whispered. "How can I know to trust you after what happened?" Boomer held her hands.
"Look into my eyes Bubbles," he says fluently and romantically. The girls behind the bush are squealing and hugging each other. Bubbles stares into his ocean blue eyes and almost faints at how beautiful they are. She can see that he's telling the truth.
"I . . . I . . .," Bubbles stuttered uneasily. Boomer hushed her.
"You don't need to say anything. I know you understand what I'm saying," he smiled and kissed her on the forehead. "I'll see you later." Without another word he left for the boys dormitory. Jenny, Lizzie and Cookie jumped out from behind the bush and literaly screamed hugging Bubbles.

Boomer entered his dorm room. Butch and Brick were still awake, Marshall lee was apparently asleep. Brick grinned.
"Did you do it?" he asked.
"Yeah," Boomer frowned and crawled into bed.
"Good," Butch laughed to himself and they went to sleep.
They all thought everything was fine - but everyone knows vampires don't sleep . . .
