Hmmmmmmm... I never had played Mass Effect (none of them, by the way) and I'm starting to assume that it's like Dragon Age 2, right? Where you can choose if your Hawke is going to be male of female, right?

You can pick either female or male, customize their appearance and choose class.
I guess it is kinda like Dragon Age 2, just in more future world with aliens and some crazy technology xD
Also they dont call you by your first name, they say "Hey Shepard! How's it going Shepard?" etc just like with Hawke

Flemeth? I think she just raised Morrigan but she isnt her true mother. Anyway Flemeth as always just wants to prolong her existence so... who knows? Maybe Morrigan we will meet in Dragon Age 3 wont be Morrigan at all but Flemeth in Morrigans body?

Well, if the developers tired to say that Flameth is NOT Morrigan's mom... they shouldn't make them look so similar! 
I played DA2 before DA Origins, so I was a little pissed of with Morrigan when you change her clothes! I wish it was like in DA2! You can chnage the equipament of a character WITHOUT changing teir looks! She spend all time with the same shitty 'Morrigan's Robe' the whole game!

I didnt see them (Flemeth and Morrigan) to look similiar XD
Both had their own goals they wanted to achieve and exterminate the other.
Yeah some armors in DA Origins for mages are sooo ugly x_x
I even once created a male character (with cheats "evillaugh: ) and made him a mage that is wearing an armor XD
And is not using a staff, cause staff animations were pretty stupid in my opinion @_@

I love Harry Potters movies and books!
It's true all the fighting looked nice :3
But the only thing that always got me while watching some fighting scenes in Harry Potter, is that when they lose their wands, they are completely vulnerable.

When I read "in DA it looked so stiff" I thought: "Wait, is there mages here in DeviantArt now?"
Remember that part next to final of the Philosopher's Stone when Hermione solves the potion riddle? She said that mostly of the wizards aren't smart because they just rely on thei magic and done. They don't have to think or make techniques nor tactics. They just send the more powerful magic they can!
And... of course, if the Selector Hat was put in my head, he would scream "Slytherin" in the moment he touched my hair!

Yup I remember that. Hermione was very smart and clever girl even tho she was a "muggle" I liked the fact that she had more knowledge and wisdom than other so called "pure blood" wizards
