James older brother Winston is a lyr class 27/28/29 he was loaned from lyr to help with the nwr construction but later would come back to help with coal drag in WW2
Because Winston always pull goods train throughout the war they have no time to clean him but Winston didn't Care about his paint and carry-on he manage to escaped being bombed 2 times still in one piece this is why his paint was a dark red all of coal dust turn his bright red into a dark red.
He was later repair and repainted in to a dark red because while Winston is a mix traffic engine he mostly pull goods train. You will never see an engine who work as hard as Winston.
He actually has two names Winston/eagle
