Well, that escalated quickly.To clarify, XANA's spectres are just masses of electrostatic energy and so would not be affected by the Fenton thermos, which targets ectoplasmic entities, under normal conditions. The reason it worked this time was that some of Danny's ectoplasmic energy rubbed off on the spectre during the attempted possession which allowed the thermos to contain it. However, the residual energy wore off quickly, and since the thermos was an electrical device the spectre was able to escape fairly easily.
