ZOMG, this took FOREVER. But I'm really happy with it.I always wondered what would happen if Luxray and Manectric decided to battle it out.
This was to practice backgrounds, shading, and anatomy.

Reminds me of when explorers of time/Darkness had Luxray, and then in sky they had Manetric>.

I think Manectric would kill Luxray. He/she is just cooler in general. Luxray is a wannabe to Manectric.

In all honesty, I think it would be a draw. Manectric is faster, but Luxray has more attack power.

Thank you! I looked at pictures of the Pokemon for reference and sketched them, did the lineart, colored them using the sprite colorings (except I darkened them to make blend with the mood), then shaded the pokemon, did the background, and for the rain, I used a big speckly brush and dotted it all over the page on a new top layer, then used a motion blur. ^^

Wow..I feel like I'm out there in the rain with them! I can feel the thunder vibrating the ground as flashes of lightning streak across the sky above. xD
