I read the manga up to date when it ended it's run, but never really watched the anime until now - so it's super nostalgic and new to me at the same time

I read the anime until.... I think just after Akatsuki got resurrected in the 4th great ninja war? I never watched the anime save a few of the movies and a couple of filler eps I was recc'd
I keep seeing stuff from people I follow on tumblr about Boruto and honestly it looks so cute?????

Ahh, the ninja war arc dragged on so much... I took a long break at that point, so I could read it all at once & quickly get it over with :,D
Boruto feels a bit too much like a saturday morning cartoon (well, I guess Naruto was essentially for kids too haha) to really hit it home for me, but it is good fun & decent watch

I think I like the look of Boruto bc it reminds me of how much simpler Part 1 was? like don't get me wrong, I didn't dislike Part 2/Shippuden (I was /obsessed/ w Akatsuki lmao) but there was smth about Part 1 that was just..... nicer??? idk how to word it properly
