Description
I've been meaning to do a pic of Shepard for quite a while now...Mass Effect is easily my favourite game of all time, and with the release of Mass Effect 2 drawing closer, I thought it was about time I did this.
You'll also notice a new siggy on this pic. You've probably all noticed that there's been a big lack of piccies from me lately - however I aim to change this, so I'm ushering this in with a new look.
If you have time to favourite you have time to comment!

Is anyone else reminded of Sargent Calhoun from Hero's Duty?

Technically is VERY GOOD. Everything looks fine, but I've don't feel a real art in this, a passion, you know. Her face is well... epmty... no feelings... In your other works there was emotions, especially in the pics of Freya & Liara.
I've hope now you understand what I've mean.
I'd very like your works, realy, but not this.

Well, it was my first time drawing anything to do with Mass Effect.

The contrast between the softness of her hair and the brutality of her armour's lines.. its very striking I like it

She looks precisely like my own Shepard... One of us has been mind-reading.
Awesome work, nonetheless.

Your texture work is fantastic, the pose is dynamic and there's nothing I DON'T like about this piece.

Man, that is one pretty Commander Shepard. ΓΆ_ΓΆ My own is still my favorite, but this is pretty much on par with her.
A nordic name for a nordic face... I assume this was on purpose. Good idea, anyway.
Pose, background, colours, all nice and well. But it's the face, that's really doing it for me here. Looks exactly like something you could create in the game, and yet somewhat more sophisticated.
Hell, I've GOT to try to recreate this one myself.
Btw. If I have time to comment, you have time to reply, no?

Hehe, actually the naming thing was more a coincidence. For some reason I've always liked that name, and when I applied it to this Shepard, it just sort of "fit".
As for the face, it is a pretty good copy of my Shepard's actual face - I even used a screenshot as a reference.
If you want, I can send you the instructions on how to create a very close approximation of this Shepard in a note

It must've been fate. My next Shepard will probably be called Lilith. I've always liked that name.
Yes, I expected as much. If this would've been drawn from just your memory...
Hm, I'm tempted to take you up on that offer. But I wouldn't hand over the specs of my Ayako ligtly. So please consider this before sending anything. Besides, not much of a challenge if I already have instructions.

Great one, you did a fine job with the face, especially the eyes.

Awesome! It looks absolutely brilliant.
It' good to see you actually finish pieces. (even if they're not ones for me. )

When I saw the thumbnail for this, since I was unfamiliar with your work, I thought that you had maybe copy and pasted Shepard's face from a screenshot and applied a few filters to it.
But that is obviously not the case.
The soft light playing off the color pallette of the face goes really well with the visible light in this piece. And the cool colors of the backround also establish a healthy contrast with the warmer skin tones and the armor.
Great job!
