this took me very long to finish and it probably shows
i had the fullbody shots sitting around in my files for too long oof

anyways!! it's!! him!! my favourite fictional character at the moment!

I could go on about Steve for hours and hours but I won't (haha, unless???)

so instead here is some trivia stuff and my headcanons about Steve and his movies since the MCU said "fck that steve rogers guy backstory who cares":
(note: only bits and pieces of this are actually canon. some are from the comics. most are just my headcanons)

-in my headcanon, I'm going with the movie version of his background aka his dad Joseph died before he was born and Steve was raised solely by his mom, Sarah
-Sarah is awesome and those are just facts. she is the best mom, and the one who taught Steve his values ("You always stand up")
-pre-serum Steve is tiny and scrawny but he WILL fight you. he's grumpy, sickly, has asthma, and is constantly tired. also he's color-blind.
-he met Bucky when he was 6 years old when he was fighting some jerk kids in an alleyway
-best friends since then oof
-both Steve and Bucky attended art school but Bucky didn't take it seriously
-Steve however has natural artistic talent and he draws. a lot. i wanna fight the mcu for shafting that sO MUCH-
-Coney Island happened because both Steve and Bucky are bastards
-Sarah died of sickness when Steve was 18. He was the only one to show up to the burial (this is actually featured in the mcu comics) until Bucky came to comfort him.
-when Steve went home, the famous "I'm with you till the end of the line" was delivered. Steve eventually moved in with Bucky. i cry.
-when ww2 came, they both tried to enlist. Steve was denied. then Bucky got drafted.
-have i mentioned that steve is a bastard and that he faked his enlistment form like 5 seperate times?
-Erskine was sort of a father figure he never had because I said so
-Steve fell head over heels for Peggy and vice versa the first time they met
-Peggy is awesome and those are just facts
-when Steve got the serum, he got to breathe properly for the first time and once the pain subsided, it was the best feeling in his life.
-it also cured his color-blindness.
-his sight and hearing improved greatly as well as his reflexes. He has a low night vision so his eyes have an eye shine and it's creepy as fuck
-Phillips is like McGonagall of the MCU don't @ me
-the Howlies are all crazy
-and they only have one collective brain cell that jumps around between them
-although, Steve does have perfect memory and he's a strategic genius
-but he has high intelligence and low wisdom, aka: dumb
-he's also soft. super soft. anyone who says otherwise can LEAVE
-he also throws vehicles at nazis and the SSR is running out of trucks and motorcycles
-I will add much more to this later but I think this is enough for now lmao

this was A LOT i know but i love steeb and he inspires me on a personal level
