Another planet I created for my upcoming Warhammer 40k RPG campaign

Meteora is a feral world, once a very advanced and civilized place in the Dark Ages of Technology, it was devastated by a Waaagh many thousand years before the Imperium arrived on Demimondus System. Even since, Meteora remained a semi-desertic wasteland, inhabited by hundreds of thousands of semi-nomad tribes of motorized post-apocalypse Mad Max style raiders.

All times the Imperium tried to bring order to this barbaric wasteland, it has failed. Meteora was left as a good recruiting place and training ground for either Imperial Guard and Ultramarines, as most of tribes are more or less friendly to the Imperium (free guns and equipment works miracles with barbarians) and feral orks still intestate the place, providing good target practicing for military recruits on training.

Recruits from Meteora are used to violence, starvation, lack of water and are good at improvising guns and vehicles out of junk and garbage, making them good all around survivalists.
