Hi all.I did this as a Concept art just for fun. I like drawing new races. I called this one the Phiru.
The live underground in huge caves with all kind of underground flora. They ride on this crystal ball as "mount" and propell it via magic. The crstal ball itself is a fruit of a underground tree and filled with gas lighter than air. (something like Helium in our world).
The race is very familiar to magic.
Dont miss his littel Familiar sitting on the Phiruans knee

I like the pink because it catches your attention, and as you look, you see purple and you're forced to focus on that! Not that it's a bad thing, though, because that's hella cool looking! I mean...

OoOoOoOoOoOOO...thas really neat! I love the colors and the little orb thingy that the dude-person is riding. And the little funky d00d on the other d00d's shoulder is cool, too. Too many d00ds.

das is schon sehr sehr geil! und wie ich gelesen habe haste dir die rasse selbst ausgedacht was zusätzlich noch recht geil ist^^ Vor allem auch sehr detailiert! respeckt!
das einzige was mich stört ist der mittelfinger der rechten hand (vom betrachter aus links) der wirkt irgendwie abgeknickt und irgendwie sitzt der kopf recht weit hinten auf dem torso, kann mich aber auch irren^^ dennoch sehr sehr geil!

Achja? das mit dem Finger pass glaub ichs chon weil wenn man mit nem finger fest auf was drückt biegt er sich ja auch nach oben hin durch.
aber das kann schon sein. und du hast recht der kopf ist ziemlich weit hinten. aber ich sag mal das ist bei der rasse so

aber hast du eigentlich vor noch mehr bilder von der rasse zu zeichnen oder war das ein einzelfall? fänds nämlich schö n noch mehr zu sehen

weiß ich noch nicht. wie gesagt ich wollte noch gebäude und landschaften zur rasse dazu machen mit warscheinlich auch welchen von ihnen darauf.
Aber ich bin noch nicht so toll in landschaftes und gebäudemalerei mir liegen mehr die charactere, aber ich arbeite dran

Sehr schön gezeichnet und coloriert, wie immer halt. Du hast dir da eine sehr sehr schöne Rasse ausgedacht, könnte meine Lieblingsrasse werden, wenn du ihr noch nen nettes Charakterprofil zuordnest ^^
Aber am besten sind wie immer die Kleinigkeiten!
Hier gefällt mir am besten der kleine Freund von unserem Phiru. Die der Umhang mit den schönen schriftzeichen und das fell algemein.
Ich kann nur noch hoffen, das du mit ihm etwas weiter arbeitest und eventuel ne kleine neue Welt schaffst mit eventuel neuen rassen

Ich hab daran gedach n gebäude und den baum zu zeichnen von dem die "früchte" auf denen sie fliegen herkommen. mal schaun.

I use corel painter 8 and a wacom intuos 2 to do all of my pictures.
original reolution was 6000x4000 pixels.
