Here is my first page for the MOCC challenge. Unfortunately due to work I fell behind quite a bit. None the less I am glad I got this much done. As you can tell some of my pages started out terrible and slowly get better. I hope no one minds.MOCC copyright to

Darn, and I thought there would be some Japanes and Chinese influences. Make sure to look into some of the tae kwon doe studios while your there. It would awesome to study it under a korean master.

I think all are welcome in a school Geof. You need to keep in mind martial arts is about expanding the mind in unison to the body. Most masters are going to keep that in mind when they examine possible candidates. I'd rather teach an out of shape student that is excited about the craft instead of a student that is perfect shape, but has a fly by night attitude. That's just me though.

Well, as a friend once said, when learning a martial art, you have to be willing to have all the stuff you're learning to you done to you as well in sparring. I'm not so excited about that aspect.

Then I think you have to ask yourself "What is it you want to learn?" Because learning by having it done to you is one way, but we sign up for formal lessons so as to learn an in educative method. I promise you not everything will be taught by demonstration on you.

Not really. It's just important to me that you take all the chances to emerse yourself in the culture. It took me some time when I first came to America to understand that I was American as well. Eventually I got used to it, and tried to enjoy some of the customs even though they're a little different from home. I just want you to have the best time you can while your there, plus martial arts is a nice story when you get back home man. You might even find something awesome to send your old friend Liam, lol.
