Description
This is one of the Superboy designs Mike McKone drew at the end of Graduation Day that featured the New Titans and Young Justice. He drew up designs like this one trying to figure out Superboy's new costume for the New Teen Titans. This is one I liked so I threw some ink and color on it digitally.Pencils by Mike McKone

His suit is similar, but I don't want to rip Mr. Mckone's design you know? I really like his wrist cape too though and if I end up changing his look again it will likely still incorporate that same cape.

Well if Superman was around for Premiere to map his DNA he could be as strong as him, but if not his strength is proportionate to the substance he is immitating or the density he gives to his muscle tissue. So essentially he could be if he needed to be.

He can't copy more than one set of DNA at a time. So he tends to revert to normal eventually. I never actually put a time restraint on it though. It isn't like the Parasite where he simply takes a part of Superman away. He literally becomes a Kryptonian with all of his abilities.

My style has evolved a little since then. I've read a lot of books as of late, and am working on the colors for my original hero as we speak. I think I am going to post some pencils here soon.

Man, if I could get some inks on my personal work it would look so much better. I just don't want to have to pay someone like twenty bucks a page just to ink.

I try to always use paper. Not that I hate trees I just really appreciate the gradients and the like I get from it.

I like paper, because if I sit int he right light and stare into the paper, the grain within and my imagination literally work in concert to produce some nice and surprising images..when filled with pencil..

Good job on the colors.
It always irked me that they decided to go with the black t-shirt and jeans. It was so bland and uninspiring compared to his previous two costumes and especially after seeing Mike McKone's other Superboy costume designs.

I know right? I think they could of done so much more with the costume, of course it hardly matters now considering what they did to Conner. I mean with him dead it is hard to even read a Superman book better yet any other DC title. I am currently only reading trials of Shazam and Flash. Thanks for the fav.

Awesome. It is too bad DC let the character be killed off. He was one of my favorites from DC only second to Superman himself.
