There you go, a photo of my finished Caha / Hellequin (in her first colours, elite gear) from Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Multiplayer. Made in Venice, in an arch of the Doge palace, by ~Tok84 .. oh I miss Venice so much! TT_TTI played multiplayer last night and realized I missed something, as she has a gold strip on the back of her boots as well.
If I feel like it I'll try and fix it, and till then... well.. too bad!
I enjoyed making this, though it has been stressful, mostly because now I work, I have no time to gather the right fabrics and ribbon if I run out of it! >.>

I lack photos of my costume (or ~Tok84 in my Ezio outfit, and trust me, he looked good in it!) simply because we were never able to take pics, because, even though there were tons of better costumes around us, we were bombarded with positive responses and loads of photo taking!
Just for reference, on Monday, it took us an hour and a half to get from our hotel to San Marco and back... which was only 600 m or so!

I would suggest finding patterns for the clothing parts, or at least some you can alter. The mask I got a full face mask, I added foam, lace and cord for the raised bits and handpainted it!
The boots are bootcovers, basically socks over your shoes, I used four way stretch velvet-like fabric for that, and the cowl!
This will take time to make, but it's worth it!

it's a full face mask, which I decided on because the Hellequin's facial features never change, but that maybe just me!
She's by far at least in Brotherhood my fav Templar. (I do like the Trickster in Revelations, but... Caha will be fav)

Everytime I see this cosplay I weep. It's so beautiful and I'm hoping to get a Hellequin cosplay commissioned someway, since I lack sewing skills and all that piping looks muderous. However to help said commissioner out I was wondering how you made those boots? They are stunning. and I was wondering if there are any tips you can give on how you made the costume just in case I end up going on a first-time sewing adventure, I was wondering how you made the shirt and the pants, and not to mention the fact that it fits your body to a T.

The boots are cheated. The caps are actually attached to my pants, and the boots are sort of... socks, I guess? THey're made over old boots I had.
For a first time experience I would make a shirt/pants/whatever you're trying to make out of cheap fabric, and keep puzzling till it fits you, then cut that up in the pieces you need for the actual costume.
The piping... why.. yes... that's a lot of meters of it! XD SO MUCH TIME AND PAIN AND EFFORT! D8<
But every costume is very satisfying in the end, making it yourself is very awesome to do, but some like it, and others... well don't! ^_^

I nearly died in Venice, and it wasn't spectacularely warm. Was more about shortage on oxygen then warm though, though I wasn't cold in it either! ^_^
But most of AC costumes are too hot for Animagic, so myeah. I'm not even sure if I'll be able to go! >.<

It's quite far for me as well, but it's still the closest in Germany, for me, I think. >.< I do enjoy it, it's just a shame it's such as long ride!
