Author's Notes: I know I've made stamps regarding this matter in the past, but I actually quite like this one, and am rather proud of it. As someone who is LGBT+ themselves, the idea that people can have such contempt towards the community is just awful. Perhaps, I've grown more world-weary now and realize that bigoted people will always exist, and will forever find new ways to be disgusting and vile. If you do not support the LGBT+ community, please do not comment, as this is a stamp for those who do and for those who are LGBT+ themselves.

The fact that people think the struggle for LGBT+ folk ended when the USA received equal marriage rights is obnoxious and downright ignorant, as it is just a part of the battle. I've, of course, met numerous people that do not support homosexuality, but did wish well for the marriage equality. Considering that I reside in the southeastern part of the United States, I've also met my fair share of outright homophobes.

• "But homosexuality/the LGBT+ community is a sin!" - I won't even delve into the fallacies or myths in different religions. I know this is usually aimed at Christians, but I've met other non-Christian and religious people that dislike homosexuality. My point is, there is a difference between, "I can't do that! It's against my religion!", and "You can't do that! It's against my religion!". It's no better than chastising a person eating unhealthy food because you're on a diet.

• "Homosexuality is like pedophilia!" - No. No. Just. Stop that. Please stop comparing the sexual attraction to exclusively children/underage adolescents to people that are sexually/romantically attracted to people of the same sex or gender. There's literally no reason or correlation to compare that. Stop.

• "The LGBT+ community is perverted!" - But worrying about someone's (consensual) sex or love life isn't? What sounds more disturbing? Someone doting over another's personal life, or people engaging in consensual and legal romantic and sexual relations?

Of course, there are so many more that I could add, but these are the only ones I feel like placing here. My only comments for the matter are, if someone dislikes homosexuality/LGBT+, I'd strongly advise them to not be homosexual/LGBT+. If someone dislikes the idea of equability in marriage, simply, don't marry someone of the same sex or gender.

L - Lesbian: Attraction to people of the same sex or gender (exclusively used for women).
G - Gay: Attraction to people of the same sex or gender (used usually for men, but can be used for anyone).
B - Bisexual: Attraction to two genders, commonly within the gender binary of male and female, but that depends on the person in question.
T - Transgender: A person with a different gender-identification from their assigned sex; includes non-binary people.
Q - Queer: A term commonly used to refer to the community as a whole; used to signify people who aren't heterosexual and cisgender.
Q - Questioning: Someone who is questioning their sexuality and/or gender as non-heterosexual and non-cisgender.
I - Intersex: Someone born with the reproductive system that doesn't fit the gender-binary definition of male or female.
A - Asexual: Attraction to absolutely no one (so, lack thereof).
P - Pansexual: Attraction to people of all genders.
P - Polysexual: Attraction to people of most genders, at least three.
D - Demisexual: Attraction to people formed only after an emotional bond is formed; a term beneath asexual.

People's beliefs and moral systems are not infinite; they end when they interfere with another person's life/rights. You're allowed to disagree, but please don't post those opinions here, as this is a safe space for LGBT+ youth and folk.
