It absolutely makes sense, but apart from the ears and the furry face this looks like a Sphynx cat.

I don't think there really is a way to do a hairless cat without it looking like a Sphynx, because (besides Munchkins) all cat breeds have the same basic body shape.

That's true. The problem is that the Sphynx is a cat breed with human-like coating (i.e. no coating), but there is no kind of human with fur like a cat.

For some reason I am now thinking of an old comic here on DA, where a girl used alchemy to give herself cat ears. Due to the rules of alchemy, a cat ends up having human ears instead. Can't find it, but found a photoshop someone made based on it:

Well, for one we are already used to how hairless cats look like, and for another, human-animal hybrids with 100% human faces will ALWAYS look instinctively wrong.
