Description In 2006 I wrote my own take on Pierre Boulle's Planet of The Apes, set on an alien planet with (spoilers!) uplifted Earth apes living on it. The planet also needed native organisms, which ranged with vaguely vertebrate like marine filter-feeders to various non-vertebrate land animaloids, largest of which on land was this radially symmetrical Galapagos tortoise sized herbivore.

In September 2020 I decided to start a new monthly drawing challenge and launchedΒ  #Spectember, a free-for-all month of speculative evolution creations. This is one of the many works that resulted.
