Something I painted this afternoon, thinking about how much Moebius' art meant to me.In Memoriam, Jean (Gir, Moebius) Giraud... You will be missed.
Your work touched the lives of millions, and will live on forever.

He was a very well loved, French comic book artist and concept artist. Google will give you some awesome details on his wonderful career and artwork.

What a beautiful tribute to Jean Giraud a.k.a. Moebius. You rendered the spirit of his paintings so well.
In my country, we were very proud of Moebius, he was one of our best comic-book artists.

Thank you. He was one of a kind, that's certain and one of my favorite artists as well. It's really hard to lose an art hero. I take comfort in knowing what he gave to the world as an artist. The worlds he filled with rich characters and landscapes that are far beyond the imagination.
