Description
What do you do when you have a whole lot of workable but old fighters? Mothball them. This is a "mothball carrier". It is a short range ship that usually sits in orbit around a planet that MAY need fighter support. There are minimal staff facilities and most of the station and the fighters themselves are in vacuum.
Pilots are brought up by shuttle as needed and the fighters launched.
On this station a single fighter remains.
These are the earlier mark of the fighters that attack Lee's ship in the "Lee" gallery.
