I just reread this, and figured out the line at the top of the pages. Thomas' life, then the accident, then the time spent floating on the edge of life, then a merge with another line, producing Sonya Duval.

This was... an absolutely bizarre story. About the only thing it was more than it was weird... was beautiful. And touching. And reaffirming of all the things that I want humanity to be. I just read the entire 120 pages in one sitting. Very, very worth it. I came back to comment on this page because, well, it felt like the "real" ending.
Anyhow, I normally only comment on pony stuff with this account, but I'm breaking my own rules because you're so awesome. How's that?

Yes, this page is the real ending. It says "Fin" at the bottom. The rest was done as an appendix. I'm planning to make "The End" a little clearer, along with fixing a spelling mistake!
