OMG. Thank you so much for this update. I never thought it would be possible to improve on the original version. It's really amazing and the added features are really stunning. Here is a screenshot of your creation on my desk. I did several editing .... does the font for the album title look familiar to you??? hehe.

isn't that the "bahamas" font i used in my "ThaPanel" skins?
no, wait... you said the album title... ... hahaha, cool.. that's BASIC5.
anyways, ..thanks so much for your great great feedback and that screenshot, man!

Thank you very much for giving me a reason to research this skin once again. It has been a while, since I used it last time. Some skins deserves to be watched at more than one time.
This skin is one of your most complex. Graphically very attractive in color and the designed parts like the progressbar and the other components with their reflections.
A large design, which is not designed to be displayed while working. So, maybe not a skin for the daily use. But an eyecatcher (design, functionality and useability) - capable to impress your friends and to make them say "Wow".
To be honest: it inspires me, to make something complex myself again. My last skins seem to be rather simple.
Thanks for the update and the inspiration, my friend!
One thing I noticed: the light effects on the toolbar buttons should be over the buttons. It looks like they are under them... Just mentioned it because I know you are a stickler when it comes to your work.

When I got really some time, I consider to write a critique to one of your skins, if you don't mind.
I'll try to be as objective as I can...
We'll see.

OtisBee In reply to barberioX [2009-05-05 16:26:01 +0000 UTC]
that would be really great.
in fact i'm still waiting for the first critique being made to one of my deviations.
now i'm quite curious about which one you might eventually pick.

wow otis you've really outdone yourself this time man...one thing i have a problem with...how do you keep making skins like this?
π: 0 β©: 1
OtisBee In reply to moonj3t [2009-05-02 15:03:55 +0000 UTC]
well, since this skin is almost 1 and a half years old it was actually created when i had a lot more time.
back then it was really great to focus on just this one thing and add one feature after another.
today i still have a lot of new ideas for many more skins, but they somewhat appear to have a lot less features ....if i even get the time to work on a new one that is.
anyways, ...thank you very very much for your great compliment and also for your kind fav.

moonj3t In reply to OtisBee [2009-05-04 03:20:50 +0000 UTC]
but hey man i think what you've done here is great because see in my opinion it incorporates your other work and has the extra feature so i reckon instead of adding similar features or anymore, you should periodically update this skin if you can...can you do that to cad skins? hehe not to put extra pressure on you or anything but yea man i used to do ALOT of work on photoshop but stopped cause of uni hoping to get back to it soon...oh and hey man no worries you make great skins so you obviously deserve it
π: 0 β©: 1
OtisBee In reply to moonj3t [2009-05-05 11:30:21 +0000 UTC]
well, of course it is possible to update any skin, but you know, ...what i like best about my skins is to actually create them.
once i got them finished i'm getting somewhat tired of 'em.
on rare occasions i'd still change a few things here and there, but mostly i head on forward to something more new and fresh.
thanks for the great comment.
that's much appreciated.

teΕekkΓΌr ederim, Delta!
there are some smaller substyles (80% of the original size) in the package as well.
but since this skin has a lot of features and elements i decided not to make it any smaller.
sorry!
i'm glad you like it anyway.
thanks again!

This doesn't look like CAD but a full-featured app! Excellent!

OtisBee In reply to Renn-Louie [2009-05-02 08:14:21 +0000 UTC]
yeah, ..in a way this is my answer to all the CoverSutra mods and rips.
basically i tried to include as much CAD features as possible and then dress everything up nicely so it would look like a standalone player.
anyways, ...i'm glad you like it this much.
thanks for your feedback, bro.
