_EDIT 11/25/11_People seem to think I hate Trixie and want her to die or something... I don't. Trixie's one of my favorite characters, simply because she's such a brat and that's somehow hilarious to me (maybe comes from growing up with my bratty cousin Amanda). Trixie drowning is supposed to be kind of an after-she-runs-away metaphor for her sinking into depression. That's why her hat and cape aren't on her- she lost them when she ran away. And I was also kind of depressed at the time so... take what you will from that.
Besides, if she was literally drowning, the sea ponies would be there to save her! XD

A combination of feeling pretty depressed and realizing that I don't draw enough canon characters. I also don't draw enough humans.

I was hoping that maybe they could make an episode where Trixie learns her lesson and is now a overall good person. It would be a great moral to the episode and it would please the fans... Sorry that was just on my mind. Though me seeing this does make me feel bad for her. But anything other then that the art looks great.

Yeah, for me it kind of ruins it... it's like explaining a really good joke for me. But I guess some people wouldn't get it. One of the group Founders for a Trixie-themed group actually asked me to do it so it could go in the group gallery, because he looked in the comments and kind of understood.
