Description This is another model of a larger work I hope to fabricate some day. It is also inspired by the "Towie Stone"but appears more like a seed pod than any formal mathematical geometry.
I am in love with strange and beautiful organic forms, and find in them the greatest inspiration for my sculpture...

Welded stainless steel-2 3/4 inch diameter. After polishing I used the torch to reheat the interstices to accomplish those rainbow iridescent colors. I just thought it might be a nice juxtaposition.

This piece is available for purchase.
Please note me for pricing.

Yes they do seem so,
Any thoughts as to what that function might be ?

They look like weights that would be tied into fishing nets.

I'm sure you'd do well on the AUT (alternate usage test). A psychological screening test for high creatives...

Yeah? Where or how would I find this test?

I believe it's part of the MMPI (Minnesota Multi Phasic Personality Inventory),a broad spectrum battery of psychological tests administered for a number of reasons;astronauts would go through this, submariners,or anybody that exhibits unusual behaviors like savant ,at an early age for instance. I went through it as a kid . My poor mom was at her wits end when I'd have dreams or visions, often or things to come, or read latent memories in certain charged objects or artifacts. She took me to a bunch of different shrinks and the first thing they did was try and assess where I was at with these tests. I later majored in psychology at college and learned quite a bit about their use. Things have changed and I'm sure the ways of testing psychological health must have changed too,but most psychologists still know what an AUT is.

Cool! There certainly is a lot to learn about the human mind.
