Description The Recruitment Ring is a wondrous device that allows tamers to recruit monsters. However, it needs time to charge up fully before it's effects can be used.

Recruitment Ring -> Recruitment Ring Plus -> Recruitment Ring DX
At first the Recruitment Ring can only use one Effect Core and takes 8 turns to fully charge.
*You get it at the start of the game.*
The Recruitment Ring can be upgraded into the Recruitment which can use 2 Effect Cores.and takes 4 turns to fully charge up.
*You get if after defeating Proto Juntaga.*
Only the strongest of tamers have the Recruitment Ring DX, it can now use 3 Effect Cores and takes 2 turns to charge up.
*You get it after completing all sidequests.*

5 Secrets Effect Cores
Ghostly Effect Core- Makes physical attacks go through your party for 4 turns.
*Defeat Abysaura to obtain this Effect Core.*
1001 Effect Core- The more money you have, the stronger your team will be. 
*Defeat Alf Layla to obtain this Effect Core.*
Prideful Effect Core- Protects the entire party for 2 turns, only critical hits can shatter the barrier. 
*Defeat God Dragon to obtain this Effect Core.*
Shell Effect Core- Renders all enemy attack useless for 3 turns.
*Defeat Megalodon to obtain this Effect Core.*
Phoenix Effect Core- Raises the party's stats for 7 turns.
*Defeat Skyaiser to obtain this Effect Core.*

Story Mode Effect Cores
Tutorial Effect Core- Forces enemies to only attack or defend for 6 turns. *Obtained by completing all sections of Tutorial Mountain.*
Virus Effect Core- Turns all elemental attacks into Null type attacks for 5 turns. *Obtained by defeated Virus Juntaga.*
Elemental G Effect Core- Powers up all the user's elemental attacks for 10 turns.*Obtained by defeating all the Elemental Graces*
Antidote Effect Core- Cures all the user's stat effects and prevents them for 4 turns. *Obtained by getting all 3 Antidote Keys.*
Finish Effect Core- Gives a major power boost to the user if the enemy has lost half of their HP. *Obtained by completing the game.*

Buyable Effect Cores
Attack Up! x1- Increase the party's ATK by 10% if they fail to recruit a monster. *Buyable after defeating Juntaga Virus.*
Defence Up! x1- Increase the party's DEF by 10% if they fail to recruit a monster. *Buyable after defeating Juntaga Virus.*
Speed Up! x1- Increase the party's SPD by 10% if they fail to recruit a monster. *Buyable after defeating Juntaga Virus.*
Power Up! x1- Increase the party's POW by 10% if they fail to recruit a monster. *Buyable after defeating Juntaga Virus.*
Recruit UP! x1- Increase the party's chance of recruiting a monster by 10%.*Buyable after defeating Pyrogeist.*
Anti-Tech x1- Seals the enemy's techniques for 2 turns and increases the chance of it failing by 10% once the seal wears off.
*Buyable after defeating Pyrogeist.*

Attack Up! x2- Increase the party's ATK by 20% if they fail to recruit a monster. *Buyable after defeating Gaeus*
Defence Up! x2- Increase the party's DEF by 20% if they fail to recruit a monster. *Buyable after defeating Gamecha.*
Speed Up! x2- Increase the party's SPD by 20% if they fail to recruit a monster. *Buyable after defeating Grapulex.*
Power Up! x2- Increase the party's POW by 20% if they fail to recruit a monster. *Buyable after defeating Abysscrawler.*
Recruit UP! x2- Increase the party's chance of recruiting a monster by 20%.*Buyable after defeating Whirlarmour*
Anti-Tech x2- Seals the enemy's techniques for 4 turns and increases the chance of it failing by 20% once the seal wears off.
*Buyable after defeating Tartarobra.*

Attack Up! x3- Increase the party's ATK by 30% if they fail to recruit a monster. *Buyable after defeating Motoret.*
Defence Up! x3- Increase the party's DEF by 30% if they fail to recruit a monster. *Buyable after defeating Abstrangel.*
Speed Up! x3- Increase the party's SPD by 30% if they fail to recruit a monster. *Buyable after defeating Rainbow King.*
Power Up! x3- Increase the party's POW by 30% if they fail to recruit a monster. *Buyable after defeating Underguard.*
Recruit UP! x3- Increase the party's chance of recruiting a monster by 20%.*Buyable after defeating Hadeon Machine.*
Anti-Tech x3- Seals the enemy's techniques for 4 turns and increases the chance of it failing by 20% once the seal wears off.
*Buyable after defeating both of Juntaga's forms.*

*Unlike the other effect cores, you cannot stack the effects for these Effect Cores.*

Fire Up!- Increases the user's Fire type attacks by 25%. *Complete Sidequest 1: Fiery Menace to obtain this Effect Core.*
Fire Down!-Decreases the enemy's Fire type attacks by 25%.*Complete Sidequest 2: Ghostly Wisps to obtain this Effect Core.*

Water Up!- Increases the user's Water type attacks by 25%.*Complete Sidequest 4: Delivery Down the Abyss to obtain this Effect Core.*
Water Down!-Decreases the enemy's Water type attacks by 25%.*Complete Sidequest 5: Water Way to Go to obtain this Effect Core.*

Ice Up!- Increases the user's Ice type attacks by 25%.*Complete Sidequest 7: Frozen Forensics to obtain this Effect Core.*
Ice Down!-Decreases the enemy's Ice type attacks by 25%.*Complete Sidequest 8: Not So Ice to obtain this Effect Core.*

Air Up!- Increases the user's Air type attacks by 25%.*Complete Sidequest 10: Wind Retrieval to obtain this Effect Core.*
Air Down!-Decreases the enemy's Air type attacks by 25%.*Complete Sidequest 11: Thieving Wind to obtain this Effect Core.*

Null Up!- Increases the user's Null type attacks by 25%. *Complete Sidequest 27: Slimy Scuffle to obtain this Effect Core.*
Null Down!-Decreases the enemy's Null type attacks by 25%. *Complete Sidequest 28: Invaders of the Dark to obtain this Effect Core.*

Spectra Effect Core- Increases the amount of money the user gets by 50% at the end of the battle.
*Complete Sidequest 29:Monsters of All Elements to obtain this Effect Core.*
Tower Effect Core- Increases the amount of EXP the user gets by 50% at the end of the battle.
*Complete Sidequest 30:Moving On The Dead to obtain this Effect Core.*
Hadeon Effect Core- Makes the enemy more susceptible to debuffs and status effects for 5 turns.
*Complete Sidequest 31:Hellish Endurance to obtain this Effect Core.*
Juntaga Effect Core- Turns all enemies Null type and causes all their attacks to do 0 damage for 5 turns.
*Complete Sidequest 32:Juntaga's Last Stand to obtain this Effect Core.*

The Effect Cores you get during the Story Mode are rather powerful. The Juntaga Effect Core is the best one in the game.
