Description
I was just chatting with a few people about the virtues of sketching in pen (no pressure to erase and make it right, no sharpening, no smudges, good training to be fearlessThe one in the upper left is from an Andrew Loomis book; the hands are mine; and the others are just sketched from ads in magazines.

It's basically a ballpoint with white ink, but they call it a gel pen or jelly roller because of the type of ink. Β It's sort of viscous and doesn't flow as well, because it has to be so opaque. Β They actually come in lots of different colors. Β You can probably get them at Walmart (maybe not white), but definitely at an art supply store. Β The white ones are popular tools.
Actually, your sort of flowing creations might look really cool done on colored paper with white highlights added.

I may have told you this before, but yeah, I love pen. I think I'm so much better with a pen because I have to be more accurate.

Pft.
It's mostly sketches and doodles, but I'll definitely try to post more of my traditional art.
