Description
It's been a while since i've animated ANYTHING for LBF yeah? so i figured this past weekend would be perfect!. This is yet another test animation to make sure i don't slip.It doesn't really have much of a purpose except to show, Lani can take a hit, LOOOL
I started this for fun, on a whim saturday, and worked on it for about 6 hours each day - i would have kept going, but i said, naah, i have other stuff to finish LOOL
The Animation
Nothing too special, lots of explosions, and some thrown in talking for a makeshift ending. the beginning was supposed to have some clouds and an overhead view of the area, but i got lazy : P Aaaaaaannnnnnnd yeah, i'm not sure what kind of projectiles those are, so just go with it LOL
Hope you guys enjoy
and here, so you'll know everything.

Your drawing skills doesn't have to be 'up to par' to do animation: animation is the art of motion, not just a visual art, you should give it a try, and yes, Lani is a beast.

It does not meet my minimum requirement of explosions for an EZT animation.
4/5

Did she say she was trying to make the requirements of an explosion? No, she didn't She said it was just for fun, and I personally think she did a really amazing job! If she keeps up her practice, she'll be even better!

trick to lip sync is to overshoot the mouth shape then ease to the closing one. "m" mouth " ah' large, " small" then to the next word.
luv the fx, very pro!!

Great effects! If you were to plus it, I would get a mirror or record your mouth repeating the same dialogue as a character. You've unfortunately fallen into the trap that plagued animators in the late 20's and 30's: every syllable and word is given equal emphasis, which is unnatural. I know she says it in pantomime, but still, you'd be surprised how often 2 or even 3 words fit into only 2 mouth shapes.
Again, you are great with effects and secondary movement like the waving hair.

Your lip sync could use a little work,
the animation is awesome though, ha.

... You squander your skills on other projects when you could be animating a lot more!
Do you not animate often because of the time it takes?

I gotta pay the bills, homie. I don't always have the time to spend working on things I'd like to because I've got quite a bit to do. If you want to just give me cash though, I'd be happy to just animate all day LOL.
As for those other projects; It takes a great deal of planning to put an original idea together in a presentable package to publish ( which is what I'm doing ). We're talking actual bookstore shelves with monthly installments of something from my own mind.
You'll see plenty of new content this year though, as I'll be animating non-stop once I begin classes later on.
