Description
It's been a while since i've animated ANYTHING for LBF yeah? so i figured this past weekend would be perfect!. This is yet another test animation to make sure i don't slip.It doesn't really have much of a purpose except to show, Lani can take a hit, LOOOL
I started this for fun, on a whim saturday, and worked on it for about 6 hours each day - i would have kept going, but i said, naah, i have other stuff to finish LOOL
The Animation
Nothing too special, lots of explosions, and some thrown in talking for a makeshift ending. the beginning was supposed to have some clouds and an overhead view of the area, but i got lazy : P Aaaaaaannnnnnnd yeah, i'm not sure what kind of projectiles those are, so just go with it LOL

Being hit with random projectiles out of no where (c) lazy animator that couldn't get off his own ass to do a proper set up.

Hmm, If LBF had a theme song how would it sound?
Rpg- style full of wide variety of instrumentals, like final fantasy, or disgaea? And what would the tune sound like?
Would it sound Hardcore-ish or rough (being like extremely loud, and just full of mind blowing instruments...such a guitars, and the basic band set)
Action-y yet Bouncy tune (Upbeat yet still a bit hardcore...With a large variety of instruments)
And would it be a full song? or just a simple catchy "riff"?
Can u name a song that's close to the type of theme u think would suit LBF? xD
I know this seems random (as hell...)

Most likely the last of the three options. Since it's a parody of an RPG, or RPG's in general - it would need a nice track that was half serious, and half fun.
I can't think of one off the top of my head, but Japanese house jazz is actually pretty close * the faster songs xD * groups like Mondo Grosso, Fantastic Plastic Machine, jazztronik : )

I do have plans for a tutorial at some point in the future : ) i'm just not sure how to go about it. But a lot of the techniques you can pick up with a little searching, checking out some books on animation, and giving it some practice ( the program's freeware, so you can download it and try it out )

The talking sequence is way too long and there is no lip sync at all.
Try to mimic her mouth and you get something like "flafllaofla" To practice, take photos of yourself sayin: A, E, I, O, U, F, and whatever else that is significant. Then learn to draw these on your anime character.
The explosions were nice though, gj.

Thank you very much for your sound advice - I think my mistake was actually not taking the talking portion very seriously and just rushing/adding it on at the last minute to end a quick weekend spur of the moment animation. (i'm not even sure if those are even real words or moments that are possible lol ) So because of that, I've had quite a few give me some helpful advice about lipsync that I already know/understand. Of course based on what you see, you can't possibly konw that xD and that's really my fault- what this did reaffirm though, is that there are great people willing to help in the community : )
