Description
It's been a while since i've animated ANYTHING for LBF yeah? so i figured this past weekend would be perfect!. This is yet another test animation to make sure i don't slip.It doesn't really have much of a purpose except to show, Lani can take a hit, LOOOL
I started this for fun, on a whim saturday, and worked on it for about 6 hours each day - i would have kept going, but i said, naah, i have other stuff to finish LOOL
The Animation
Nothing too special, lots of explosions, and some thrown in talking for a makeshift ending. the beginning was supposed to have some clouds and an overhead view of the area, but i got lazy : P Aaaaaaannnnnnnd yeah, i'm not sure what kind of projectiles those are, so just go with it LOL

Being hit with random projectiles out of no where (c) lazy animator that couldn't get off his own ass to do a proper set up.

Your life would probably be a lot easier if you did it on flash using the brush tool.
Anyways everytihng looks pretty nice, especially the KA-BOOM!!!! But you gotta work on your timing when it comes to lip sync with no voice, you could have the head bob on accents and subtlely shaking her heading on the words prior.

XD life would be harder if i did it in flash using the brush tool. Easytoon is a much easier program to use than Flash is. It's a small program, but it's great for little practice and test animations like these.
I'm glad you liked the action portion, it's one of my favorite things to work on also, I wouldn't worry about the speaking part though - i appreciate the link, but i'm quite alright at lip syncing - it was half assed and thrown on at the last minute to end this one, nothing more than that. I hope it doesn't really ruin it for you though : )

Well you can take smoothing off the brush tool, and you can have larger working spaces too, you can only have so many pixels in easytoon I think :s

Thank you very much : ) In easytoon there's no set fps, you have to set the duration of each frame. I use a duration of 7 on each frame, which is good for a nice average speed ( it's the closest to 24fps that i know of )

I've always been interested in making animations. -has yet to get a trial software to practice-

what frame rate do you use? wow those explosions are so awesome though the mouth movements were pretty bad. u only need about two frames per syllable.

I tend to use a duration of "7" for my animations : ) Glad to see you liked this one though, It's only practice, but i still like to post the junk here for people to see : )
I wouldn't worry about the speaking part though, it was a total afterthought to "end" the animation LOL ( else i probably would have kept going )

cool i'm trying to go from 9 to 7 to get some more experience with faster frame rate.
yeah i know the speaking wasn't a big part but you should probably work on it in a separate test.
