I don't know what the original designers thought warranted giving Beast a 2 in Energy , but dropping that stat by one lets me up his Fighting to a deserved 6 while retaining the same point total.

Maybe the 2E came from Beast always having some Gadget's handy. I mean, if Joker's toys give him a 4E, well....

But he doesn't really. The vast majority of X-Men comics I've read, and cartoons and movies featuring him, put all the focus on his fighting skills, agility, and strength when he's in combat. He's practically never depicted pulling out surprise gadgets like Joker, or coming up with inventions on the fly like Reed Richards. And his intelligence is geared towards the lab work he does behind the scenes, which is reflected in his Specials.

I get your reasoning. I'm not sure why I always pictured Beast with 2E. He's my favoritest X-Man, and it would only make him easier to use.

According to official Marvel sources, Beast has class 10 super-strength . Same as Spider-Man.
