They deservedly gave Lex the 8 Intellect in the first DC set, which screwed over Brainiac. They tried to compensate by giving him the 8 Energy , which frankly makes no sense at all. His name is Brainiac for godsakes! They could've left him out until the JLA expansion and made him that set's 8I character instead of the forgettable Neron , but I guess because of his status as a premiere Superman villain they felt compelled to include him in the first set, 8I be damned. I dunno. I've given up trying to figure out the thought process of DC OP's designers.

Swapped his Energy and Intellect, because duh. Bumped his Strength up a bit since in his most recent pre-Flashpoint incarnation he's something of a bruiser who can really throw his weight around. But his physical might is still secondary to his incomprehensible intellect and vast mental powers, so it gets capped at 6.
