Description This is based on the 7th season STDS9 episode "Treachery, Faith and the Great River". A faulty Weyoun clone wants to defect to the Federation and Odo picks him up in a Runabout. En route they are being attacked by a Jem'Hadar fighter who wants to prevent the defection.

Weyoun tries to help and instructs Odo to "lock on to their dorsal field junction, their shields are weakest there."

Unlike in the episode I went down the correct "Treknology" route and chose to let the Runabout fire photon torpedos since phasers are not suppose to work at warp speed.

Background: Starfield and warp stars created in LW by myself via texture environment.

Meshes: Danube-class by Thomas Slanitz, Jem'Hadar fighter by Ebolii.

Well, I don't know if you know the episode, however, the Runabout was originally fleeing from the Jem'Hadar ship, however, during the episode Odo slowed down and let the bug overtake and then subsequently fired upon it.

Makes for a funny irony though, I agree!

If you ever watch it, watch it chronologically from start to finish, otherwise it won't make much sense. I know that's a good suggestion for anyone, but some people prefer the later episodes only due to a lot of space battle action.

Well, that is certainly not a bad idea. In a way I envy you. You still have all ahead of you. It certainly fits well into the high standard of story telling that Star Trek provides.

at the moment i watch TOS remastered on TV and the order is a complete mess. at first they showed the mantrap, i.e. episode 5, then the showed episode 7, then episode 1... instead of bringing them correctly...

Yes, I know, some TV stations do that. It's ridiculous. I've only seen season 1 remastered so far. Not bad actually, but TOS is a tad too tacky for my taste from today's perspective. But then I don't mind rewatching any of the TNG+ shows. Have probably seen all three a good few times over by now. Just doesn't get boring, what can I say?

TNG+ ? does that mean, it has been remastered too?

No I meant TNG+ as in anything post-(and-including)-TNG, so DS9 and VOY.

ok, now i understand. but i was curious what a remastered TNG would look like...

Well, to be honest, I don't think it would be a good idea. Considering the very last episode of Enterprise where you get an idea... no thank you. TNG was good enough and doesn't need remastering.
