PART 4 !I hope you'll like it
Uhm do you remember the little butterfly in the intro from FE Awakening?
I think it's the soul of the avatar/ lisa
And a legend says that butterflies are the souls of the deceased so I decided to make this a part of my little story in here
I am sorry for all the mistakes I may have made in this part! D:
please ignore them and I hope you'll understand everything XD

I, also, have pondered about the meaning of the butterfly, but I believe that you have misunderstood the symbolism behind this creature. The stages of life she goes to and the growth from caterpillar to butterfly symbolises mostly 'change' in a few cultures. You can try to link this to the avatar, but I am almost certain that that would be untrue. Instead, look at Lucina's design; her butterfly-shaped mask, the shield when you promote her to Great Lord. If anyone, the butterfly is linked to her, which makes a lot more sense considering the fact that she wanted to change the flow of destiny.
And now that you have this knowledge, watch the intro again. Emmeryn sacrificing herself, Chrom marrying Sumia, a war taking place, Grima's awakening,... It all leads to one conclusion; time goes on and change will always take place. The only thing that's never going to change is that things alway will change. Hence, the butterfly.

You know what?
I don't think you can actually misunderstood this symbolism. Everyone has his own opinion about that and I think it's the soul of Lisa.
I mean just because of Sumia at the beginning with Chrom is no reason in all honesty.
Sumia is just there because they couldn't put the avatar with him because you can play a boy as well.
Okay Lucina wears a mask with a butterfly shape and her shield.
And? The avatar is there too to change the flow of the destiny like Lucina.
Everytime the avatar is ther as the tactician to help Chrom.
This is my opinion about the whole thing.

I just wanted to enlighten your vision with my own. Lucina's character is more about the future than the avatar and her design's a subtle hint from the makers. Lisa is more a link from the player to the game, the eyes you look through.
And don't worry, I'm no Sumia x Chrom fan either. Their relationship is too forced. I prefer Chrom x Maribelle.

But the whole 'Chrom marrying Sumia'-thing were literally just three words. And it wouldn't be a good idea at all to put the avatar there instead of her. You're a little bit overreacting about the whole situation, if I am being honest.
Anyway, I know that, no matter how hard I try to explain the symbolism to you, you would never believe me. Instead, you want to believe your very own explanation against any odds, am I right? Is it because you find yours more accurate? Maybe. Is it because you are trying to accept everyones 'opinion'? Probably not. Or is it because you really want that to be the truth? Almost certainly. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing bad about escapism. Everything would be better if there were living dinosaurs remaining, because life is dull and meh. Escapism, people, ESCAPISM!

I put up my own little Fire Emblem piece recently, kind of covering the same point in the game as yours; and I'm working on a few other stories to kind of branch out from that.
They're still works in progress, but I might have to fit that little butterfly bit in somehow, that's just too good to pass up.

Ja, ich habe auch mitbekommen, das viele andere auch noch etwas Angst davor haben dieses Fach zu wählen.
Aber mir wurde auch gesagt, dass durch die Ausbildung zum Gamedesigner auch in der Architektur tätig werden kann.
Also man hat dann mehrere Möglichkeiten und das finde ich mega cool!
Das Ding ist dann nur, dass ich wahrscheinlich alleine als Mädchen im Gamedesign sein werde, da die meisten entweder Grafik oder Mode nehmen. XD
