This summer sister-in-law had the most gorgeous fuchsia in her garden in France. I just couldn't resist but I'm afraid my painting doesn't do them justice.Watercolour on Arches 300 g cold-pressed

But I really wasn't fishing for compliments; you should see my reference photos for this - the colours are so much nicer! Some of the blooms are this wonderful deep purple-ish blue with just a hint of pink while others are more red-ish. I tried every possible combination of paints but for the life of me I couldn't get the colour right. Really BUGS me!!!
