Thio, Minna's character.
This is a character sheet I did for her contest. If you want to know more ->[link]

Thio is an 18 year old warrior. He's a calm and silent person, and is characterized as "light". His true nature isn't known, due to the fact he is only half human. I based my outfit design on those characteristics.
Since he is a calm person i used mostly blue colours. And I wanted a strong contrast to point out he has a hidden part, therefore I inserted amber jewels on some of his gadgets. The amber is held in place with a pale blue crystal representing the light.
I must admit I had most fun with the swords. One of them is a normal rapier representing his human part. The other is a short katana decorated with the jade/crystal ornaments representing his fight with darknes.

This took me way longer than I thought: the sketch (it is made on various papers), the inking (very messy because in realiy it is a very small picture and I couldn't draw the smaller details), the colouring (had problems with picking colours) and the shading (not sure if it turned out right)...
