I used to color sort of like that... cellshading at first and then softening it, except rather than a different color I'd lower the opacity and use the same two colors... hmm
anyway I think it could be helpful, but yeah the first one was more helpful

Helpful! I agree on the orange color, pink gives you piggy skin... 
I have a question though: What OC version do you use? Because yours looks much more tidy then mine... I guess its an older one, but which?
