Description Saleen S7R
Saleen introduced the S7, the first true American supercar. The Saleen S7R’s 7-liter racing V8 generates 600 horsepower and is capable of speeds in excess of 200 miles per hour. With its extreme ground effects engineering, the car could be driven upside down at 160 mph and still stay attached to the road !!

Well this is my most complex vector piece so far. Took about 3 weeks on and off to complete, glad it is finally done.
No mesh on this one, just normal fill, gradients and blends.
Thanks to *CRWPitman for the blending tutorial.

As usual CnCs are welcome

awesome. chalk the look of the rims up to that's just how they actually look and therefore they couldn't have come out any differently. they look fine anyway. the whole thing rocks. it looks like there is a little too much going on above the rear wheel but i wouldn't change it.

p3nx In reply to cityofthesouth [2007-02-17 16:20:09 +0000 UTC]

i know what you mean about the area above the rear wheel, but i don't know how to make it any better, so i just leave it that way

I have my way of making a gradent with out a mesh. For darker colors I use +10 to saturation and -20 in value. For lighter colors I use -10 to saturation and +20 in value. If you see any of my ship devs and look at certin sections have this effect added. I am working on a car right now.
