Contest Entry for
The theme is horse play
it says the horses must be interacting with eachother and though in this drawing you can't directly see, but Cuty and Sweety are interacting because they are hiding together. anywho Cuty and Sweety decided they wanted to play with Calvados and Dietro and hide & seek was the game
The boys have to look for the girls and in his pic you can see them hiding. they're both standing on the lookout. the perspective is kind of like you're someone that's luring from the bushes

well for the shape I use this tutorial as a base: [link]
after I've made the shapes of the mane and tail I lock the layer. then I get my ever so handy burn and dodge tools. I begin with the burn tool. I use a small brush and go with how the hair would go. I make the brush smaller and smaller until I finish with a one pixel brush for them details
