History: Lúcido was born as the foal of the lead family, besides from just being the leaders the family was also royal. In the beginning there was only Lucid (main personality), he was a cute little colt and was pretty normal. As he grew up there started to grow a voice inside his head. When Lucid was 4 years old he had distinguished the voice as his imaginary friend. The voice called itself Devan and was very insecure and shy. At first Devan was hesistant in talking to Lucid, and for the time being he agreed with the term imaginary friend. When Lucid was 8 years old Devan started to grow more rebellious, he didn't want to be in the back of Lucid's mind anymore he wanted to be in control for a while. But when he suggested that Lucid got scared and finally told his parents about the voice. Their parents were confused and horrified to learn that their foal wasn't as cute and normal as they had always thought. They told Lucid not to let Devan out. With Lucid reluctant to let Devan in control he got angry. Devan revealed that he wasn't an imaginary friend, he was the other person inside his body and he had just as much right to live as Lucid. In the end Devan was desperate and begged Lucid to let him out, he had been stuck only watching for years now and he just wanted to coexsist with Lucid, taking turns in being in control. After a lot of pleading, arguing and persuading Lucid finally agreed. With Devan in charge he went to Lucid's parents, he wanted to meet them properly as well, and let them change their minds about him. But Lucid's parents only got scared and angry at the foal controlling their son's body. They told him they wanted nothing to do with him and that he should leave Lucid alone. Devan was devastated, why wasn't he allowed to be loved? Only because he wasn't the one in control when they were born. When he tried to befriend the others of the herd eveything blew up in his face. He was shunned and feared. Devan stayed in control for a few days before he was to much in despair to even try to get acnolidged. Lucid felt bad for him and tried to put in a good word for Devan. But no one was prepared to listen, everyone told him that it wasn't normal and that he should block that Devan guy. Devan stayed in Lucid's mind for a long time after that and he grew very bitter. He started to get jealous of Lucid and his happiness and family and friends. Their friendship faded and rivalry was born. Devan started to want to get out more and Devan was reluctant to let him. In their teenage years Devan found that the agreement of Lucid was unneccesary, he was also able to grasp control when he fought hard enough. When he was out he was a menace, he bullied the others and caused trouble where he could. It wasn't long after that that the two found out they had a power no one else seemed to have. They were able to see into other horses their dreams. Both of them were fascinated by the new development and they both developed their skill in a different way. Lucid started to manipulate nightmares into peaceful dreams whilst Devan worked the other way around. It was clear that Devan was the more talented one and his skills grew. He was able to turn good dreams into horribe nightmares for severeal horses at ones. And up till this day he's always trying to develop new skills. Nowadays Lucid is mostly in charge, he left his herd when he was 16 to stop Devan from messing up the herd even further. Lucid is still a nice guy but the pressure from Devan is keeping him from functioning as well as he could.
