Description
Ages ago Ral Partha made these miniature sets obviously inspired by D&D. They were supposed to represent the same character at low, intermediate, and high levels of advancement. I though that was an interesting idea to riff off of, so I've cranked out a few of these "three stage character" drawings. This little guy is a gnome illusionist.Related content

I had a whole mess of those sets. I loved the old Ral Partha minis. Much better than now, simply because they weren't collectable! I mean how stupid is that?

*goes through a a long segue, from Gnome Illusionist, to Spelljammer, and their Whelk ships, to ask "does he stand a chance in a supernova?"*
Very cool art..

Thanks! I think Citadel did something like that too... anyway, I've been finding it to be a neat technical exercise.
