The top critter is supposed to be some sort of stillborn god that gives bizarre psychic vibrations. The bottom critter is vaguely based on pyncnogonids and fungi - the stuff on the back are fruiting bodies.Related content

I appreciate that you put in the silhouettes of investigators next to each monster. (Although, by the time I got to the fourth monster, I kept expecting one of the investigator silhouettes to be running away screaming.) The blob with the brain in it was particularly creative. In all four designs, you did a great job at making a Lovecraftian type of creature look scary without taking the easy way out by adding physical indicators of danger such as claws, muscles, fangs, etc. You kept to the tone of emotional and subtle horror, just like H. P. does in his writing.
