Description
These drawings *kinda* went the direction I wanted them to, but to me the problems are glaringly obvious (and oh man, criticizing the technical problems of your own drawings doesn't mix well with having a cold!), and I don't feel like working up any of them further than this right now.

So, left to right;
* using a phase spell to escape
* some sort of cloud or dust spell, and a homunculus familiar
* draconic-themed mage using draconic scale defences and attacking with draconic themed jaws
* tentacle or snake generating spell used to mire an opponent
* some sort of Lovecraftian, shows victims the space between the stars, fear based spell
