Some ideas to go by when it comes to space combat.
1) Weapons are likely to be tethered. On top of it, the guns themselves likely will not have vents, but the suit to auto-correct, with information streaming through the tether.
2) Compartmentalized suit designs mean injuries aren't immediately fatal. Some sort of close-off for limbs should they be compromised is necessary for fighting in space. Joints and such would look less like conventional baggy clothing in this regard, and more like the pillow-ey appearance of, say, the shoulderguards on medium. And considering battle armor would have a hard surface layer, like carbon nanothread, it'd be more taut than folded: it'd be more likely to maintain its shape.
