- before sheck agreed to have him be blackfrost's cousin, he was going to be a kittypet that lived with terrance. i had his character planned out as dog-like so he needed someone to tag along to, and since i was too shy to ask anybody i figured just to use the ultimate gaylord
- had he been a kittypet, pigeonpaw's name would be louis-charles (though i have a new plan for a cat with that name)
- his ears are meant to be super long and floppy. when he talks, pigeonpaw is extremely animated, so everytime he speaks his ears bounce up and down.
- he was vaguely based off of Charles Baker "Dill" Harris from To Kill A Mockingbird and an old human character i had when i was nine named Drew (mostly Drew).
- he's currently the only straight character i will ever have.
- it was purely a coincidence that pigeonpaw and batpaw are both gemini and twins; i didn't know at the time that i planned him out that he'd have a twin sister. he's supposedly be gemini because, while not bipolar, does have some personality conflicts (he gets confused on what he's feeling a lot and clearly can't keep on one topic). that, and i wanted him to share a birthday with my first dog, which is June 6.
- he's supposedly chubby from slacking off too much, and can't run too fast but can hold a certain pace for a long time.

pigeonpaw is involuntarily loud. he doesn't really mean to be, he just is. when he laughs it's a raucous, and he loves attention. everything he does has to be big and bold; it has to be important and it has to make a difference. if he's calling you, you can most certainly hear him across the moor. keeping his mouth shut is probably one of the hardest things for him. he's always talking, and his conversation don't even have to make sense. he can't keep secrets; he's always blabbing out everything he hears to other cats. the young tom loves to take another cat's stories and spin them, entirely changing it to "make it more interesting".

thanks to his inability to be quiet, many cats find pigeonpaw very annoying. once you talk to him, just once, he'll automatically assume you as a friend. it doesn't matter what age, gender, or clan you're from; everybody's a friend! this would be a great trait to have, if he didn't take it to such extremes. since most cats don't tolerate him for long, if you show even the slightest interest in him, he will never leave you alone. be warned, take caution around the young tom. thanks to his clingy-ness, he's also quite loyal, and will stick by your side through thick and thin. really, all he wants to be is a good friend and have someone be a good friend.

pigeonpaw has the bad tendency to be both random and off-task. he'll stray from the original topic of the conversation and won't even notice. it will take on a new meaning for him and most times he can't even remember the original topic. occasionally he'll be laying in his nest at night and suddenly remember, in which case he'll run straight to your den and expect to continue the conversation just as you left it. thanks to this, many warriors also view him as a bad omen; an omen that they'll be rudely awakened at the early hours of the morning. he can't hold to one thing too long and will often blurt out random words. for example, if he sees a butterfly, he feels inclined to blurt it out; even though no one really cares.

working alongside his randomness, pigeonpaw is was too easily distracted. like i've stated before, holding a conversation is difficult for him because it often veers off into some unknown world. he daydreams very easily and almost never on task. he likes to claim that he's a diligent worker and, really, he is. but he won't get anything done unless you hover over his shoulder and remind him that no, that butterfly is not as important as running a fox off the moor.

despite being easily distracted, if pigeonpaw is truly invested in something, he shows the utmost determination. this trait is especially pronounced when it comes to dealing with relationships. he is a strong emotional investor and, since he has so few, will never let a friend slip through his fingers. he's too easily forgiving, and will never hold a true grudge. he's extremely energetic and always has energy. sometimes he doesn't sleep at all at night and still runs laps around the moor with vigor after getting caught talking too much.

he loves adventure! his favorite thing to do in the whole wide world is to go on quests!! he absolutely adores roleplay and will never turn down a game with kits! they have such imaginative stories, those little rascals; he adores them! if it wasn't for his height, he'd probably be mistaken as a kitten himself. he loves to cross borders, and often gets in deep trouble because of it. he still doesn't quite understand why he can't go visit other cat in other clans. he gets kind of lonely being pretty much the only apprentice along with his sister, all the others had either ranked up or are in the process of being ranked up. he just doesn't get why he can't make friends! sometimes he thinks the clan is punishing him for talking so much because they don't let him go visit his buddies across the borders.

it doesn't really come as a surprise that the innocent child is kind. he's honestly too pure for this world; he can't see a spec of evil in it. he loves everybody equally, and as i said before, never holds grudges. he forgives you no matter what you do, and often, even when it's your fault, he's the one apologizing. he'll never decline an invitation to help, and although he may not do a very good job, he takes it to heart.

kind of building on to his kindness, but pigeonpaw really, genuinely never sees flaws. it can be kind of bad, in that he thinks that every single plan made up will work, and this often leads him into trouble. he's not a full-proof thinker, since he can't spot mistakes easily. he likes to think that no matter how bad someone is, there's always good in their hearts somewhere. thus, he never really got the moral of tigerstar's story. how bad could he really be? should a cat be punished for trying to rule? no! he thinks that thunderclan should have given him a shot; maybe he wouldn't be half bad! the elders have given up on him.

he loves adventure! his favorite thing to do in the whole wide world is to go on quests!! he absolutely adores roleplay and will never turn down a game with kits! they have such imaginative stories, those little rascals; he adores them! if it wasn't for his height, he'd probably be mistaken as a kitten himself. he loves to cross borders, and often gets in deep trouble because of it. he still doesn't quite understand why he can't go visit other cat in other clans. he gets kind of lonely being pretty much the only apprentice along with his sister, all the others had either ranked up or are in the process of being ranked up. he just doesn't get why he can't make friends! sometimes he thinks the clan is punishing him for talking so much because they don't let him go visit his buddies across the borders.
