Terrence doesn’t believe in StarClan, or the legends of the Clan cat’s ancestors. He knows other clan cats have lived before them, of course they have, but he doesn’t believe that they haunt them or whatever they say they do. He instead believes in what his mother and Twolegs had (somewhat, for the Twolegs) taught him. He believes that there is an afterlife, but not the way that they imagine it. He himself doesn’t really know what he believes, to be honest. He thinks that the year revolves around the horoscope: that every cat was born in a certain month that determines a certain aspect about them. He also theorizes about how their world was formed, ‘often gives others headaches because of his foolish rambling. Nonetheless, he thinks the world came from the Big Bang, and that the stars are the answer to all their problems. So, like the clan cats, he relies on the stars as some weird form of a religion.
He also knows the periodic table of elements and that everything around him is made of those elements. He doesn't know what is made of what (besides that every living thing is made of carbon) but he knows elements and their shortened symbols (not how to read or write them, just how to say them. ex: copper, Cu he'd say "see-you").

terrence is quite the charmer, he is funny and humorous when he wants to be, and has no trouble in gaining allies most of the time. terrence also has a clean mouth, refusing to say most profanities unless over-the-deep-end stressed. he is well-mannered and tends to have an even temperament. he is smart and witty with remarks and jokes, he often shamelessly flirts either subconsciously or just for the kicks of it, no real meaning behind it.
terrence is one to make jokes left and right. he tends to be rather clumsy, but to avoid his own embarrassment, he laughs it off like he meant to do it. he is often quite childish and immature when it comes to humor, and will find the stupidest things hilarious. some find his light-heart endearing, while others find it just plain obnoxious. he has sort of a nonchalant aura around him that radiates carelessness and his carefree personality. terrence could also be compared to an anime character since he tends to do everything with an over-exaggerated, dramatic flare.
although terrence has no sexual attraction to anybody, he still finds flirting quite nice. his entire existence is based on the company he keeps around him, and his emotions and behaviors usually reflect those of his friends. he likes to make others feel better about themselves, and quite enjoys being around insecure cats. he is excellent in comforting cats, and is good company to keep when you are sad or upset. flirting lightens not only his heart, but the other cat's as well. it can be a bit tricky to tell whether he is putting meaning behind his words or just trying to lighten the mood.
terrence is a big cuddler. another way he is compared to a kitten because he just adores physical contact. for him, sex just isn't what he's into, he prefers to just relax and hug, nothing more. often times he just gets so desperate to cuddle it's because he's lonely and has no friends that he'll settle for random strangers or cats he just met. he believes that hugging is some of the best medicine, and while he's never been hugged himself (for his own comfort) he understands it helps.
terrence would often be called a she-cat if he didn't have such a masculine voice. his behavior is very feminine, in which the way he walks and eats. he is very dainty, and cannot stand dirt or any kind of mess. dirty? clean it up now! he has somewhat of an obsession with keeping everything clean, and can get stressed out very easily because of this. dirt and messes are one of his largest triggers for his panic attacks. he also hates bugs and smaller animals, which is usually associated with she-cats.
while a great cat when he is pressed with sadness and depression (he is quick to bounce back from negative emotions) terrence doesn't do so well under pressure. he tends to get stressed really easily and is prone to panic attacks. he's only had them twice in his life, both times he hates to talk about, but he fears them greatly. he can't have a lot of work pressed on him, which is why he was never attracted to clan life: he wouldn't be able to handle all the work. he is not leader material, but if pushed far enough it is possible that he could take control of a situation. in times like these, he doesn't have panic attacks, but throws up. something is just revolting about authority to him.
because of his submissive behavior, terrence enjoys being told what to do and quite likes following orders. he takes pleasure in pain, although has never really inflicted it on himself before. he likes to be pushed around and disrespected, but he can only handle so much. he is one to accept the pain if it helps others feel better. he likes to be put down, since he has such a high self-confidence already.
because terrence is so dependent and submissive, he tends to get overly clingy. he needs someone to follow around and take orders from, probably why he is so attracted to his sister, who is more domineering than he is (or ever will be). once terrence finds someone he likes, he will never let them go. he rarely ever has any friends because of this, but he doesn't mind, as long as he isn't totally alone.
it's not that he purposely tries to be a pain (most of the time) he just is. his clingy behavior and need to be dominated can get in the way a lot. he usually ends up getting pushed away, and despite his efforts to convince otherwise, it does hurt him, not deeply (unless he really cares about you) but it hurts nonetheless.
ll History ll
KITHOOD:
Terrence had a fairly normal backstory: born to two kittypets, raised in a traditional family, nothing really special. He was never specifically attached to any family member, choosing at random to spend time snuggling with. He didn’t really have any bonds with either of his parents, nor his siblings, so when the time came for him to be re-homed, he was ecstatic to be leaving the cramped space of his nursery home. Unfortunately for him, Virgo’s (his mother) Twolegs found him too adorable to let go. So with his mother he stayed, his father living but two blocks down. His siblings were rehomed somewhere around the city, he saw them a few times on outings he went on with his mother, but only greetings were exchanged between the siblings, unlike his mother who basically smothered them. Over time, he began to socialize more and more with his sister Selene, and the two became friends quickly, along with their sister, Ellie. Leonidas was always more of an outcast, and he held himself higher than the rest of them.
6-9 MOONS:
It was around the age of seven moons that he first discovered what his Twolegs’ adornments around their living area meant. Apparently they were of the Horoscope and Zodiac. As a youngster, he took to them as only play-things that dangled from the ceiling or walls for the sheer purpose of entertaining him. As he got older, their meaning began to intrigue him, and his mother taught him all she knew: that there were twelve signs, one for each month based on the position of the sun. Each cat had their own sign, Virgo’s being unknown, but Terrence’s being his mother’s namesake. These signs determined what would happen in their lives, and often, the omens they shared were mysterious but truthful. It was also around this time that his sister, Ellie, had gotten abused by her twolegs and had fled their home. Terrence was very deeply affected by her leave, and he and Selene became quiet sad. They didn't know where she fled to until they were older, and even then, Terrence was not informed.
10 - 12 MOONS:
Was on his tenth moon that he had witnessed something that would change his life forever. The family’s child, James, had been studying for his “School”, and was watching a video about the science of how life began. Terrence, gathering what he could from the little Twoleg language he knew along with the assisstence of diagrams, was mystified. He found out that the universe had been created by a large explosion, in which everything had come into being. But that there were other theories, ones of deities who created it and others of black-holes and mass-expansion. He was intrigued to say the least, asking his mother to elaborate, she said such thinking was foolish. Virgo lived by the clan cat’s religion, guided by her ancestors and their legend. Terrence was disgusted. These wild cats must not know about the world! They are so primitive to believe such foolishness, he needed to bring them the truth, he needed to shed a light on their dark situation. This much became his mission, and so, he became an outdoor cat to open up the eyes of the foolish clan cats.
NOW:
He still doesn’t exactly know what he’s talking about, often talking in circles or loops, making no specific point besides the fact that the clan cats are wrong. They never have any of this, and he usually gets cast away, called a loony by his fellows in the city. But he knows, oh Terrence knows, how they just need to understand, need to learn, and he won't stop until they do.
He wanders around, but does spend many a day and night talking to his sister, Cancer. Really, she is the only family member he has staid in contact with besides his mother.

ll Trivia and Others ll
-I had already named Terrence as Terrence before I knew his name meaning. He just looked like a Terrence when I created him, and so he stayed a Terrence. It was just really convenient that Terrence meant soft, as-well.-Terrence’s pelt is snow white, and tends to stand out in most territories. Because of this, he prefers Winter rather than any other season, you cannot spot him that well and he has longer fur which keeps him at an even, warm temperature.
-Terrence tends to release large quantities of body heat when staying still.
-His neck and oddly enough, his forehead, are very sensitive spots for him. Often, if you even so much as touch his neck he will freeze up as a natural response. There is so reason as to why he does this, he just does.
-Terrence rarely ever lets his feelings dictate his actions or thoughts, he operates on logic and logic solely.
-Terrence is a clean-freak, everything must be nice and spiffy or he will flip his shit. It's an unhealthy obsession, really. He has to have everything clean and in order and shiny.
-Terrence knows most of the Human Periodic Table of Elements.
-Terrence tends to spend a lot of time with his sister, Cancer, and his Twoleg family occasionally takes her on vacation with them. She is the polar opposite of him, however, not one for physical contact and quite the antisocialist.

Allies: None at the moment – This list includes cats in the clan and out of the clans he considers his “allies”, but they could also be called friends, just not referred to as so by Terrence unless extremely close. He also includes clans that he considers to be “on his good side” as allies, even if they don’t reciprocate.
Current Residence: Wanderer – Terrence never really has a true home, but choses instead to wander around the clan territories, only occasionally going into the city. He usually takes residence in trees or hollows/holes he dug into the ground. Because of this, Terrence usually resides near ShadowClan or SkyClan. He partially lives with his Twolegs, leaving with them only during Spring/Newleaf to their cabin in the mountains where he spends the season. The rest of the year is spent by the clans, in and out of his Twoleg home.
Favorite Territories to Reside In:
ShadowClan – Terrence enjoys ShadowClan the most of all, not only because of their intriguing hostility to him (that he frequently likes to test by pushing his luck and being obnoxious) but also because he enjoys pine trees, reminding him of his Newleaf home, which is his favorite place in the world. Those ShadowClanners he is able to have a civilized conversation with tend to trigger excitement and curiosity in him, he doesn’t much know why, they just do and he enjoys their company the most; especially the young ones who think they can take him in a fight.
SkyClan – Terrence also enjoys SkyClan because of its abundance of trees. He loves to climb, and he prefers to sleep in trees. However, SkyClan is secluded and has few cats residing within its confines, which provides a strong conflict with Terrence. His entire existence is dependent upon the social activity he gets with other felines, and being alone for too long doesn’t exactly make him a happy camper. He normally spends nights in SkyClan trees (when he isn’t chased away) and days around ShadowClan (hoping not to get beaten up).
Least Favorite Territories to Reside In:
WindClan – Terrence absolutely despises WindClan territory with a burning passion. He hates how he is exposed to the sun all day round and that there is nothing to hide in. There are no trees except for the occasional small sapling or shrub that bend and sway and sometimes break under his weight. He avoids this area at all costs, and only goes there in the worst of circumstances.
RiverClan – Terrence has mixed feelings about the RIverClan territory. He enjoys being in waters, but only calm waters; not the raging streams the RiverClanners make homes in. He will, every so often, go there just to pay a visit to his “Fine-Fishy-Friends” and also to take a small dip, but nothing else.
ThunderClan – He… isn’t too fond of ThunderClan but also doesn’t hate them. They give him the creeps, he doesn’t know any details about it, only that they give him a bad vibe, as if they are dangerous and different than what he is used to. He is weary of the company he keeps, and ThunderClan is usually never on the list of his allies. He avoids ThunderClanners at all costs, but enjoys their territory space.

Yes, kind of. My character is a rouge, as you know, who tends to sneak into the territory of ThunderClan, and hunts there. Her mother had told her stories of the wild cats, and she has always been interested in them. But one day, instead of going into the forest for a hunt, she stumbles onto your characters yard, and maybe you attack her, or tell her to leave, then notice the scars over her eyes and hind leg, and back off.
I tell you not to be scared, we talk a bit, I tell you my back story, and we start to become friends. After some time, I show you a few hunting moves I taught myself, and maybe a battle move or two I saw from ThunderClan, though I do it horribly. XD

ahh, but terrence is a big softie, he'd never tell anyone to back off and on top of that he doesn't have a yard. he's a rogue who only spends the summers/springs in his twoleg's mountain home; otherwise he is always off in the forest. he also tends to hang around either the inside of the city or around shadowclan/thunderclan since he really, really dislikes thunderclan. if we can work something out with that in mind, it'd be perfect. though i noticed that razor likes to take care of others and has "a drive to please". so perhaps terrence could get allergies and she could offer to take care of him? if you have something better, then please, because mine is p bad. cx
