That's sad to hear, but luckily you have a lot of photos of him.

He actually was pretty sick in this pic. He was under the care of a Veterinarian Specialist. He was only 5 yrs old, but had developed many health issues. I had to make the hard decision to have him euthanized. The Vet let me hold him while "it" was done. My face was the last thing he saw.

I know the feeling, we had to put 2 of our cats to sleep in the past. It was over 20 years ago. Just 3 years ago I was ready to consider and take new cats (Maisa and Aino). They're not only cats, they're family members.

I'm so sorry about that. They do take a piece of you when they're gone. And yes, family members for sure. I tell everyone I gave birth to mine...they're my children, lol
