do it do it do it! Who else did you like? Byrne did a tight job with the Hellfire Club story arc, and Dave Cochrum wasn't too bad, he made a lot of headway for the books after his StarJammers stint

I love John Byrne's Phoenix stuff in the X-Men Essentials tpb's cuz it's all b&w without that garrish-ass 80's coloring (which does have it's charm, but not when it's fucking up all of John Byrne's gorgeous detail!) and Art Adams during Asgardian Wars is fucking phenomenal. I hear the original pages of his art are like 3 feet high. He is SO the man. I love Marc Silvestri on X-Men too, his gestures are SO fucking dynamic and just SO on the money, I can't believe he did X-Men bimonthly and still made it look that good.

Hell yeah! Yeah Silvestri is my all time fav on the X-men. He had great panel layouts and his take on the characters really made them so real-like
