Description
Weapon Type: Sniper Rifle
User Type: Titan, user friendly
Maker: Ta Firearms
After tireless years of testing and redesign, Ta Firearms presents it's crowning achievement, the first ever sniper rifle to hold a Magna record of 10 miles of effective fire range, the Reaching Death Sniper Rifle. A gun built for a single purpose, of hitting a target from the longest possible distance. Many features were put into the rifle to achieve this record, and Ta Firearms couldn't be prouder of being the current record holder. The parts that help the weapon reach such distances are a built in shock absorbing device within the stock to prevent the user from damage of the blow back, strengthen light weight and air tight chambering, specially designed rifling of the barrel, along with a special polishing to reduce friction within the barrel, and no gun can achieve all this without the right scope that see the intended target.
However the true key to holding the record is the specially designed bullet. Along with the cartridge being the heaviest caliber available, the bullet has a hallow center that is on a timed cap. Once the bullet takes .0010 seconds to exit the weapon, the cap activates, and then fires up the rocket like mirco propellant to continue the bullet's travel, preventing gravity or other environmental factors from affecting it, and allowing it to hit it's intended target without adjusting for these factors. Though it has these features to the weapon, there is one factor that some consider a draw back. Though it can reach 10 miles, that is if there isn't anything in the way. When objects are in the way, the kinetic energy the bullet has is reduced, forcing the bullet to be effected by it's environmental factors, reducing it's range and accuracy greatly.

If your asking how much ammo is in a single MAGAZINE, it's 5 rounds.

This is really well done! Just that the silencer may be somewhat cumbersome...

Always appreciate input of other mocists, however you are mistaken about the part.
The silencer part you pointed out is actually suppose to be a re-enforced barrel extension. Without the extension, the bullet would not be able to travel as far as it potentially can, and without enough material in the barrel, the air pressure in the barrel would blow the whole thing apart, instead of using the air pressure to help repel the bullet, or gas power the mechanism to make the gun semi automatic.

Ah... So instead of silencing the shot, one just needs to fire from a LONG distance away then? Very clever

Yes, when dealing with such a caliber, the bullet breaks the sound barrier, and hits the target long before the audio boom of the bullet is heard by the target.

I kinda thought of the Captain's Mouser from hellsing. It's a teeny pistol wih a long barrel.
And that totally came out wrong.

I can see where you would think that, but I based this design off the McMillan TAC-50 sniper rifle.

Well, I don't know squat about guns, so I wouldn't know. But that is interesting!

Having a better general knowledge of guns can help, and maybe even inspire to create better weapons MOCs. Just a tip....
