I can't take full credit for this. said this to me in my poll thing I had. I couldn't resist but make a stamp out of it! 
Right? Remember the days when vamps were cool before they sparkled? Yeah, those were the good ol days. *sigh*I allow all anti-twilight clubs to submit.

Vampires. Do. Not. Sparkle. I swear to god, that is something else. They've completely changed the whole thing, but then they call it a vampire! It's like when they take a book and make a film that has a completely different storyline but just has the same title and character names. It's something different! Give it a different name!

Lol ever seen Tanz Der Vampire/Dance of the Vampires? Even the gay ones are alright as long as they drink real human blood and burst into nice toasty flames when they go into the sun. ^^

I don't think I have. I've seen Interview with a Vampire and they were gay, I think. They aren't bad, cause they drink blood and have smex. But it's the sparkly ones that frighten me so much.

Actually, they aren't anything. In Anne Rice's world, vampires see no point to picking to love one person when they can live forever. Besides, sex is impossible for them anyways so they love all.
Tanz der Vampire (Dance of the Vampires) is a German musical that came to Broadway and flopped although it's much loved over in Europe. Basically a vampire seduces a girl into coming to his castle and the boy who loves her follows. Once at the castle, he meets the vampire's very openly gay son who becomes very infatuated with the boy although the boy finds the vampire very intimidating. ^_^ The plot is much more complicated than that, but you get the point.

On a side note, there is also a scene early on that greatly amuses me. There is a coward vampire who is cornered and desperately lies to free himself. He promises to become a "vegetarian". Gives me a laugh every time.
Lol Twilight makes me really appreciate the writers who can actually write and the actors who can actually act.

Darn, you are so right. Vampires were my favorite sort of undead creature. They were manipulating, intellectual beings with the power to control the weak-willed and place fear into even the bravest of souls who dare transgress upon them.
If I were to be turned undead, I'd pick vampire. Beats being a zombie.
That was, until it appeared. Before I saw the stamp, I forgot that I used to love them. Now I remember why.

When I was a little girl, horror stories were about vampires and werewolves. Now the vampire stories are like disney fairytales.
