Madison was watching the rider before her finish up their round. Adam’s words went in one ear and out the other. “Huh? Oh, right. Sorry.” It was not only her first dressage show, but it was her horse’s first show in general. The red headed woman swallowed hard and began trotting around the outside of the white dressage arena, waiting for the bell and going over the test in her head. “Down center line, halt salute at X, left at C working trot…”Nada. Madison’s young thoroughbred mare, chewed on the O ring in her mouth. The bell rang causing Madison’s heart to lurch. “All right..here we go..”, she muttered to the mare as the trotted into the arena and down the center line...
