For my AP Art History class, we had to do a painting based off of an artist in our book and change the style...I did mine based off of a Julia Margaret Cameron photograph. Needless to say, the woman didn't look so...dead, in the photograph. But it did look kinda creepy, so I went off that.Acrylic

I like how flat the background is, in comparison with the tones in the woman's hair and skin. The lack of color in this makes it very sterile and very haunting, but also beautiful in a raw sense.
