Because there's nothing more romantic than SCIENCE! 8DThis is my entry for a contest over at #JakxKeiraShippers , asking us to draw a moment we would have liked to see in TLF. So! Here's some Jak being helpful with the eco sagery business Keira's apparently doing now. I mean, how sudden was that? Is she just instantly good at it? I also would have liked to see Jak show some interest in the whole thing. After all, it's his biology she's messing with. Oh, well. Guess that's what the fandom's for. XP
Also, in my mind, Jak's lack of goatee is just part of his identity crisis. X3

This is just too cute! I love how you've managed, in just a few panels, to show the difference in eco approach: Jak is very go-by-feel and natural, and Keira is very analytical-scientific about the whole thing. While TLF was a disappointment in a lot of ways, it's art like this that brings out the best that game has to offer, and keeps my love for the characters strong.

I just adore how you draw the two of them. They look so incredibly adorable, which is nice after how heinously Keira was rendered in The Lost Frontier.

Concerning your question, all the inks were done traditionally, the colours, text and word balloons were made in Paint and everything was re-sized in Lexmark Photo Editor. Nothing fancy. XP

Wow, for traditional inks that's supper crips and clean! I suck at linework- at least I think so - takes me far too long, but the digital relm of linework that looks bomb, like illustrator's pen tool, are too vector based for me. D:

Thanks! I actually find traditional inking is a lot quicker for me, but I guess it all comes down to comfort and practice. Like, my digital stuff looks rather sterile, while yours holds movement and looks very natural.

OMG this is some of the best Jak and Daxter fan art I've seen in a while. Awesome panels and coloring. I love your style also. You've managed to give it your own touch while still making the characters look like themselves. AWESOME JOB! WANT MOARRR!

Funny thing, a few weeks ago I was joking around with my friend and some of the people who live in her dorm and we were talking about how sexy some majors were. and then I told them I was pre-med biology; the only guy in the group goes "*pause*.... OH MITOSIS! MEIOSIS! tell me about the cell cycle again baby!" needless to say, I was cracking up. Proof biology is sexy. Because if not for biology then sexy would have no meaning, lol
PS. I love Keira's annoyed face and her face in the last panel.

Haha that's what my brother tells me and then my response is to go "I don't have time to practice drawing! I'm an honors pre-med/bio major and spanish minor" lol oh well. I more of use drawing as a study break and stress relief now so I'm not too concerned if its anything good or not.

I could be called a die hard fan, but I wouldn't care because I've been playing Jak and Daxter 1st since I was like 7. I'd probably get it just because I love the game series, I didn't really like Jak X though but I put up with it. I'm hoping the last one will be better
